We help 173,876 people in Knoxville every year. We do this through 111 programs in 51 different agencies that improve the health, education, and financial stability of the people of Greater Knoxville

Providing financial stability and independence
In order to efficiently improve the Health, Education, and Financial Stability of the 173,876 people we help, every few years the University of Tennessee Social Work Office of Research & Public Service runs analysis and gives us a Needs Assessment. This assessment looks at our agencies, our giving, and our community to let us know where the money you donate would be best spent.

We grant money to agencies through a competitive application process. Our volunteers review the applications and allocate money based on quantitative results. Agencies that receive funding are required to submit to periodic reviews. These reviews make sure that donated money is used in the most impactful and innovative programs.
