Kate’s Story

“A friend of mine found Samaritan Place for me. They treat you like a person, and they help you with your help. You get to live with other seniors, and that is so important. I’d never heard of it before, and it was like heaven. It really was. I don’t know what I would’ve done otherwise. No one ever expects to be homeless, especially when you’re old. You don’t think it would happen to you, but it happens. I was just lucky. I’m so lucky.”

Samaritan Place offers housing, support, and intensive case management to seniors who find themselves homeless.
