WE NEED YOUR HELP
Did you know there are 1,420 street homeless people living in Knox County?
They live in places not meant for human habitation and sleep in public places or abandoned buildings. Their circumstances and lack of support are often beyond their control.
Your donation could help get someone back on their feet.
There is much work to be done in Knoxville to decrease the number of street homeless. The United Way of Greater Knoxville is proud to work with local agencies and programs that provide care for those in need, to get them back on their feet.
JOIN THE UNITED WAY TO HELP THE HOMELESS IN KNOXVILLE
We help people by raising funds and supporting programs that provide solutions for the homeless in Knoxville. Those programs include the Community Coalition Against Human Trafficking, Cerebral Palsy Housing Corporation, Family Promise of Knoxville and Southeastern Housing Foundation. Although these 501(C)3 organizations also raise funds individually, the United Way is responsible for providing funding, which represents a large portion of their budgets, allowing them to better serve the homeless in Knoxville, many of whom are desperately in need of help.
YOUR DONATION HELPS THE HOMELESS IN KNOXVILLE
United Way of Greater Knoxville raises money to meet the needs of our community. The money that is raised here, stays here, in Knoxville.
